Transcurridos seis años desde el inicio de la AGA, el Mecanismo de Revisión Independiente (MRI) ha recopilado los datos de más de 2000 compromisos y 120 planes de acción. Con esta información podemos comenzar a responder preguntas importantes: ¿Está funcionando el modelo de la AGA? ¿Están participando los ciudadanos en el desarrollo de los planes de acción? ¿Qué tan ambiciosos son los compromisos planteados por los gobiernos? ¿Cuáles son los principales retos en su implementación?

En esta sesión, el MRI y el Panel de Expertos Internacionales (IEP) de la AGA discutirán las respuestas a estas preguntas, basándose en los hallazgos de las últimas publicaciones del MRI que revelan los puntos fuertes y débiles de la iniciativa.

After six years of OGP, the Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) has collected data on more than 2000 commitments and 120 action plans. Armed with this information, we can begin to answer important questions: Is the OGP model working? Are citizens participating in the development of action plans? How ambitious are OGP commitments? And what are the main obstacles to implementing them?

In this session, the IRM and the International Experts Panel (IEP) of OGP will discuss the answers to these questions, based on the findings of the most recent IRM papers that uncover the current strengths and weaknesses of the initiative.
